  • Have the zip lane on the Expressway open an hour earlier and let commuters use the breakdown lane starting at 5am instead of 6am.  - Dan in Pembroke.

  • Reward towns that meet the state's affordable housing goals with a 100% match of Community Preservation Act funds. - Brian in Pembroke

  • Allow town to use power generated by mill at Town Hall. - Jim in Hanson.

  • Change policy of healthcare providers charging "facilities fee" above and beyond the negotiated rates health insurance pays for. - Rob in Duxbury

  • Have the Old Colony Commuter Rail make mores stop in Quincy instead of going right past it on way to South Station  - Nick in Hanson.

  • Create incentives for health insurance just like auto insurance by giving the equivalent of "good driver" credits. if you exercise and stay in shape you get a reduced rate! - Laura in Hanson

  • Put a "deposit" on cigarette packages to reduce the number of cigarette butts and empty boxes that get littered everywhere - Laurie in Pembroke

  • Change unit pricing law to require consistency. Stores will provide the unit price for one item by the pound, but for the same item in a different size will provide the unit price per 100, or per ounce, or some other measure that makes comparisons difficult. How can a shopper quickly compare the small size at 59¢ per ounce with the larger size at 28¢ per 100? Or $3.59 per pound? Unit pricing is completely useless if stores are allowed to use different ways of measuring different sizes or brands of the same product. - Bob in Duxbury.

  • Amend the bottle bill to include all plastic bottles, increase the deposit to 10 cents, and charge a 5 cent tax on every single plastic bag used in stores. Make it easier to redeem recyclables by requiring all redemption centers to accept all bottles and cans, rather than only what they sell. - Lance in Pembroke.

  • Lower the speed limit on High Street in Pembroke to match the Duxbury side. People drive too fast. - Jim in Pembroke.
