Lobbyists: No Thanks

While not required under state law, the Cutler Campaign has a policy of not accepting contributions from registered lobbyists.

Josh is the only candidate in the race to have taken this stand. He believes lobbyists should influence legislation on the the strength of their ideas, not their wallets.

Campaign Finance Rules

Campaign finance laws limit campaign contributions to $500 per person per calendar year, and prohibit the use of money orders or cash in excess of $50 for campaign contributions.

Contributions and gifts are not tax deductible for federal and state income purposes. Campaign finance laws prohibit contributions from corporations.

Contributions over $200 require employment information. In such cases if not employed, please enter "none". If self-employed, please enter "self".

The Mass. Office of Campaign and Political Finance maintains a database of all political contributions. You can search by candidate, zip code or date. Data is kept for all candidates for state office, ballot questions, political action committees and state and local parties.
