Thank you to all our amazingly talented Sixth Plymouth District student artists!
This is our fourth year hosting this high school art competition and we had a new record of 93 entries in total! All the works are currently on display at the Massachusetts State House in Boston (4th Floor near House Gallery) where thousands of visitors from across the state, and across the world really, come each week.
They will be up through Friday, March 17 and I encourage you to drop by and check them out if you are able. Once the public viewing is done here we will be setting up an online gallery on our website: www.joshcutler.com for visitors to view at their leisure.
It has been my distinct pleasure to see all the entries and meet some of the many talented students in our district. Giving these young artists an opportunity to showcase their skills is important on many levels and I everyone for helping us to celebrate these accomplishments.
Many thanks to our esteemed panel of judges who volunteered their time to review all the entries: Crystal Duel, Jenny Kelly, Sean Goss and Karie O'Donnell. Also thanks to staff Cole Angley and Patrick Walsh, and intern Cody who helped with all the logistics. Thanks as well to the Duxbury Art Association for helping to coordinate our judges and to the art teachers at Pembroke, Duxbury and Whitman-Hanson high schools for helping encourage and collect all these entries.
