On Saturday I joined a group of hikers in New Hampshire heading up the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail (about 4.5 miles) to the summit of Mount Washington (6,200 feet). The hike was in memory of slain MIT officer Sean Collier. There were about 50 hikers in our group, including many of Sean's former colleagues at MIT as well as a small contingent from Duxbury (in Collier Strong photo) This was my first hike and while I wouldn't necessarily recommend tackling Mt. Washington for your first time, it's a great view, an amazing journey and I'm very glad I did it. Special thanks to Hanson resident Bill Boulter for spearheading this event in Sean's memory.
