Private and nonprofit employers can now receive $4,000 to help train and retain newly hired workers through the HireNow Grant program. Employers can receive grants for up to 100 workers, totaling $400,000.
To be eligible, the new worker that the grant is for must be hired between March 23, 2022 and December 31st, 2022, and must be retained for a minimum of 60 days.
The funds can be used for anything from on-the-job training to retention bonuses and tuition reimbursement benefits. This funding will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
